Doors in Time

In her book, 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘵𝘩 𝘐𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘵, Arianna Huffington wrote about a conversation she once had with Francoise Gilot who told her that there are “doors in time”. Arianna noted that we were facing such a door in time, “an opening for great possibilities of a new being, for a breakthrough in our evolution.” Continuing, she wrote that “For the first time something as vast and epic as the destiny of mankind depends on something as personal and intimate as the way each one of us chooses to live, think, and behave.”

How can each of us lead the way forward through the “door in time” that is opening for our evolution? As Abraham Lincoln said in his inaugural address, we need to turn now “to the better angels of our nature.” They are there, waiting for us to call on them, waiting for us to lead through them. The door is open. Let’s walk through it, together.
